FOLKLORE MUSEUM
Konstantinos and Marousso Rousos’ traditional house in Naousa Paros, has been transformed into Naoussa folklore museum, a small but interesting museum where traditional clothing is exhibited. You will have the chance to admire one of the most beautiful aspects of both the Greek civilization and the Parian variation. It is situated 150m away from the Town square, right after Pantanassa church. In a traditional environment, men’s and woman’s wear from all over Greece and -of course- Paros, are presented. In addition, objects of everyday use, as well as old photographs will reveal to you ancient Paros. On entering the museum, you will find an informative leaflet and other interesting things concerning Paros. The Folklore Museum Collection belongs to the music and Dance Group “Naoussa Paros”, which performs traditional dances at the big church of Panagia, in Naoussa, throughout summer. The Folklore collection is open from May to September. You will find more at information bureaus and on the notice boards at the Naoussa square.
